Therese Raquin

Therese Raquin is set in Paris during the 1950’s, its a tale of murder, love and passion that follows Therese, a young woman with her whole life ahead of her. However, Therese is stuck in a dull life, married to a man she doesn’t love. Everything changes when one day she meets Laurent, an artist and one of Camilles (Therese’s husband) oldest friends. Therese and Laurent share a passionate love but it has to be hidden from the world until one day, hoping to not have to hide any longer, they murder Camille so that they can be together. Little did they know this was the beginning of the end, the couple become depressed and Camille begins to haunt them both, reminding them of what they have done until they both go insane.
